Elisa Faison is a writer and freelance developmental editor. She recently completed her PhD in English at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has published or forthcoming work in The Missouri Review, SmokeLong Quarterly, Grist, Orca, The Lumiere Review, and The Carolina Quarterly. She is currently working on her debut novel and on a novel-in-stories (which features “Group Sex”). She lives in Carrboro, NC with her partner, newborn twins, and cats Phil & Lil.
